So as you may already know I have decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in January 2011! This is not a challenge I am taking lightly but the charity I have chosen to support is one I can strongly relate to. I am fortunate that my epilepsy does not effect my daily life and with regular medication I am able to take on a challenge like climbing Kilimanjaro, but for some people who have epilepsy life can be a daily struggle to control and manage their seizures. The National Society for Epilepsy believe no one should be left to deal with epilepsy alone . Every single penny raised will help them to continue there work in medical research and providing direct support to those coping with epilepsy. So let the challenge begin . . . . The first step is getting fit! clearly exercise is not a passion of mine, but I am determined to be in the best shape possible to increase my chances of reaching the summit. So I'll be running, cycling and swimming over the coming months, all encouragement and support is greatly appreciated! I will keep you posted on how my training and fundraising is all going. I really am very excited, and a little scared about climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest Mountain in Africa! but I know all the money I can raise with your help & generosity will make a massive difference to the 1 in every 131 people in the UK who are affected by epilepsy. Thanks a million! Becky x

My first FUNdraiser was a Car Boot Sale on Sunday 7th March, in Stoke Newington. I had a fantastic day and chatted to some really lovely people. The sun shone on us all day, and with the help of lots of sweet tea and a tin of roses we were selling from 8am until 1pm. Thanks to every ones generous donations and purchases, which helped me raise a fantastic £100!!!!!
